Advanced Defensive Handgun
If you’re a concealed weapon permit holder or carry a gun professionally, you owe it to yourself to give yourself the best chance of surviving a gunfight. This two day, sixteen-hour course is very range intensive and designed to teach you the skills you need to survive. Total cost for this course is $350.00. Click here to register.
In our sixteen hour class, you will learn:

Students will be required to bring the following to class:
- Cased, UNLOADED centerfire double action revolver or a semiautomatic pistol
- Minimum of 3 (three) Magazines (Speedloaders for Revolvers) More is always better.
- 500 (five hundred) rounds of ammunition for the handgun that will be used in class
- Strong side holster for the handgun to be used in class. (Can be inside the waistband or outside the waistband. No ankle, crossdraw, or shoulder holsters will be allowed.)
- Hearing protection, either earplugs or earmuff style
- Ballistic eyewear (Inexpensive and can be found at sporting goods counters)
- Baseball cap or hat
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Appropriate clothing for the weather. (Range is outdoors, and we shoot regardless of weather, safety permitting.)
The classroom and range are not within reasonable driving distance of restaurants. Bring a lunch.
Course Prerequisite: Our Basic Defensive Handgun course or completion of a verifiable military, law enforcement, or other comparable training courses, concealed weapon permit, LE credentials, or military ID card. (We don’t train bad guys, and we don’t apologize for this policy.)
This is NOT a beginner level course.

Need a different class date? Have a special need? We may be able to accommodate you. Any person who has any form of legal impediment from owning, possessing, or being around firearms is not allowed to take part in the class or be present on the range. This includes anyone whose convictions are included in The Lautenberg Amendment, which states:
GUN BAN FOR INDIVIDUALS CONVICTED OF A MISDEMEANOR CRIME OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE — 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9) Which states: Qualifying Offenses: As enacted the statute defines “misdemeanor crime of domestic violence” (MCDV) as any state or federal misdemeanor that –
“has, as an element, the use or attempted use of physical force, or the threatened use of a deadly weapon, committed by a current or former spouse, parent, or guardian of the victim, by a person with whom the victim shares a child in common, by a person who is cohabiting with or has cohabited with the victim as a spouse, parent, or guardian, or by a person similarly situated to a spouse, parent, or guardian of the victim.”
